When people start interposing their own
judgements of other places in the Bible onto the text
without the context
of the text — that's when they fall into difficulty.
And, oh, when the hour - glass has run out, the hourglass
of time, when the noise
of worldliness is silenced, and the restless or the ineffectual busyness comes to an end, when everything is still about thee as it is in eternity — whether thou wast man or woman, rich or poor, dependent or independent, fortunate or unfortunate, whether thou didst bear the splendor

judgement can pass — eternity asks
of thee and
of every individual among these million millions only one question, whether thou hast lived in despair or not, whether thou wast in despair in such a way that thou didst not know thou wast in despair, or in such a way that thou didst hiddenly carry this sickness in thine inward parts as thy gnawing secret, carry it under thy heart as the fruit
of a sinful love, or in such a way that thou, a horror to
others, didst rave in despair.
So as a foster parent I would bring my children up firstly to LOVE everyone, regardless
of their habits, sins and beliefs, and to know that despite sins, Jesus loves us and we are called to love
others too and accept and welcome everyone
without judgement.
I wish I had a stronger community
of other moms earlier on where I could really be honest about what I was going through and feel heard and seen
without judgement.
Respect for everyone's decision in life,
without judgement (for how could you know the circumstances behind an individual's choice) is something to be valued and I encourage all my readers to have an open mind when entering the parenting arena - both for your own parenting experiences and those
of others.
It's the one holiday where we can all get together to eat, drink, and celebrate our relationships with each
other and take obnoxious amounts
of selfies

As much as we all might want to say that we call the shots in our own careers
without any regard for the
judgements and opinions
of others, that's not always true.

of the elected in the designers and their program, in the users and their data, in the experts and their
judgement, and the data and the product and the academic environment and the current «political environment» within and
without the «buro», and all the
other «buros» and departments and advisory boards and committees, and what the press thinks, and what the bankers think, and what investors think, and the UN, and Soros, and the lobbyists, and — oh yea — the Voters back home.
This conversation is a form
of active listening in which you respond to each
other's venting with empathy and
without judgement.
The
other point I would like to make is that mindfulness (awareness
without judgement) might be the basis
of long lasting relationships.

other without fear
of judgement, criticism or rejection.
