This unprecedented exhibition gives due recognition to the
women artists
and activists
of color who were actively contributing to the second wave
of feminism — a chapter
of art history that has too often excluded
people of color.
With programs like Divvy for Everyone, Indego's equity program, BIKETOWN for All, Citi Bike for Youth,
and many more, the
people in this room are making sure that bike share is reaching lower income residents,
people of color,
women and others
who have been historically underserved by transportation options.
