While I have championed the cause of
women in ministry through the years, I've run across an inordinate number of women pastors whose demeanor was less than appealing (see Sister Marie's comment above).

ministry coordinators so that they don't appear too authoritative, and on and on and on.
While men can honor God
in varying capacities
through work, family, and
ministry, a
woman's spiritual aptitude is measured primarily by her ability to procreate.

through Lent this year
in 40 Days of Community, I'm realising afresh the
ministry of community, particularly for
women, as we mourn and rise, keep and bless, nourish and pray for each other.
