I took to the streets (well, it was actually the Birth Boot Camp instructor group) and asked women to tell me all of the ways their husband's were
wonderful during their birth experience.

births I have attened, as well as the 2 natural
births I
experienced myself were peaceful, calm,
wonderful experiences, even though there were times that were trying
during those
births.
Both were great, hard but
wonderful, and I found that reading a lot about labour and
birth (both physiological and stories) helped me to realise that I could influence my
experience hugely just by the attitude that I cultivated as pregnancy progressed and the mental «tools» I used
during labour.
