Shark Tale would like to be the next Finding Nemo, but lacks the essential qualities that made the Pixar gem so
wonderful, namely, a genuine
feeling of warmth and respect for the characters to draw them as fully as possible within the limited confines
of the animation.
I can speculate that we were charging into summer when, once again, the room would
feel a little warm, even though we rarely use our air conditioning due to the pleasure
of mother nature's natural air conditioning... a
wonderful fog bank that creeps over the hills most evenings and cools us down, thank you Newport Beach, the red color gave off a psychological
warmth (if there is such a thing).
