There are minor detours through warmth and humanity (Descas displays real tenderness, which speaks to his and Denis splendid working relationship and all the
wonderful movies they've made over the
years) but the real meat of this is watching Binoche reach her limit with the worst men in France.
The funniest
movie of the
year, and a
wonderful big screen breakout for Amy Schumer (and some guy named LeBron).
The
wonderful Judy Davis was in both this and another surreal
movie about a writer that same
year, David Cronenberg's Naked Lunch.
We can almost always look ahead to a new
year and say that there is a great batch of new films from established favorite filmmakers,
movies with
wonderful casts, giant event
movies and promising indies.
J.J. Abrams bringing back the force for a new generation is going to be a magical experience at the
movies and the ultimate way to end this
wonderful year of film.

Wonderful Word Adventure
Like last
year's superb The Edge Of Seventeen with a
wonderful Hailee Steinfeld performance, and before that the Oscar - winning Juno, this is a very human and often funny
movie that just happens to center around a teenage girl.
My biggest surprise of the
year was The Perks of Being a Wallflower - absolutely
wonderful movie with a terrific performance from Logan «Percy Jackson» Lerman.
If you really get the urge to take your family to a Christmas
movie this
year, my advice is to buy one of the many
wonderful Christmas films you've enjoyed on DVD, and save yourself a bit of money.
In a normal Hollywood romantic comedy, this would lead to an inevitable disaster, but Anderson instead provides us with some of the sweetest, most heartbreakingly
wonderful moments in any
movie this
year.
Hopefully you've had the chance to see the
movie (Sound Off) as it's one of Pixar's best in
years, a return to form for the studio with another
wonderful original story.
This
movie, which embraces some
wonderful performances by both adults and high - school kids, should prove a draw for all ages and might just remind some of us who are
years beyond their student days of our own successes and misses way back when.

Three
years after the successful Escape to Witch Mountain, John Hough, Kim Richards and Iake Eissinmann returned to the Disney studios to film the sequel Return from Witch Mountain, a
movie so exciting and
wonderful that perhaps it even rivals the first.
Aside from that pretty
wonderful holiday short film / commercial released last month, things have been pretty quiet for director Wes Anderson in the wake of 2014's The Grand Budapest Hotel, which was a critical darling, a box office hit, a genuine Oscar contender, and very much the best
movie released that
year.
At the end of the day, Matilda is a
wonderful movie that offers up charm and danger in equal doses, and its thematic elements still bear significance nearly twenty
years on.
For the past two
years, The Film Experience has tried to make up for the dearth of
movie site reporting about the Oscar Honorary careers (beyond the sharing of press releases / YouTube videos of their speeches) with mini-retrospectives so we're always hoping they'll choose well to give us
wonderful careers to discuss right here.
First off, there's the director and co-writer Ryan Coogler, the 31 -
year - old helming a $ 200 million
movie as his third feature (following the flawless Fruitvale Station and the outstanding Creed), then there's the fact that this is the first MCU
movie post-Thor: Ragnarok from Taika Waititi, a film, for me, that switched up the successful Marvel formula somewhat with its
wonderful off - beat humour and unique charm.
The launch was at Livraria Cultura's main store, in the heart of São Paulo — a
wonderful building where,
years ago, three
movie theater exhibition rooms were standing, at Paulista Avenue.
What has been presented in this version are amazingly huge landscapes taken straight out of the
movies with so much detail and fidelity that can only be topped by the
wonderful sounds and music Star Wars fans have loved for
