I have been craving it ever since I read the recipe, imagining how wonderful it must taste, and I was trying to wait until watermelon were truly in season here in Wichita to try it (that happens in August for us), but with the added incentive of the Holiday Recipe Club blog hop, I knew the time had come.

I wish you a wonderful day with the people you're most fond of, and if you're taking a slow Sunday with plenty of time for reading, here are some of the things that caught my eye this week.

This is a beautiful, thick book; full of wonderful recipes and fascination information about chocolate that, I am sure, most of us would not have known, before reading it here.

When I first read about the wonderful benefits of coconut oil, I asked my wife Marianita, who grew up on a coconut plantation in the Philippines, if there was a more natural way to extract the oil from the coconut, so that we didn't have to buy the refined coconut oils found in all the stores here in the Philippines.
