I do love a good platformer, though, and LBP2 is (despite some occasionally
wonky jumping mechanics) a very good, insanely fun, ridiculously charming platformer.

This takes a lot of the frustration out of the often
wonky jumping segments, however, I can't help but think the devs were forced to put this instant restart
mechanic into the game to make up for the substandard platforming.
All in all, Ninja Gaiden really is a good game, but it's SO damn hard because of
wonky platforming, and I just can't help but think that smoother / more responsive
jumping mechanics would have made the games far more pleasurable to play through.
