wood slice chalkboard has been on my project list since last summer when I acquired 4 slices of cedar wood from a neighbor.
Unfortunately, I was so excited that the transfer technique worked that I forgot to take a before picture of the transfer and you only get to see the finished rustic

wood slice is painted with
chalkboard paint the hand lettering was painted on using the technique of printing it on a piece of paper, rubbing the back with a piece of chalk and tracing it onto the
wood with a pencil.
