I bought a Collectif Pearl coat instead, which is made of thicker fabric and has
higher wool content so it works for our winter a little better and I can walk around in it at least until it drops below -20.
If this is not possible, look for mattresses with a
high wool content, which is a natural flame retardant or ones that use either hydrated silica or boric acid, both which are naturally occurring.
The wool content allows the fibers to adhere to each other giving the wrap the ability to stay in place as you tighten a chest pass in a Shepherd's Back Carry.
Wool content is recycled.
It's very cold here now and this coat although feels light weight is really warm due to it's
wool content.
For a warmer cowl, choose a yarn with a high
wool content.
