I may not wear the tunic

dress too often — it's
more my style to wear it scrunchy with pants rather than with the leggings, belt, and boots, but it definitely seems to

While I do somewhat agree, in that it's super comfortable and convenient, I also find that I'm a lot
more productive when I actually put in the effort and time to get ready and get
dressed like I would if I were to go to
work in an office.
Since I
work remotely these days (
more to come on that in future posts — I'm still getting the hang of managing my own time), I don't really have to
dress up, so usually I opt for put - together yet comfy ensembles, like this gray midi

For a
more dressed up and glam look, I like to
work in gold hardware and accents!

It's a little

I
work in a corporate office as a social media manager, and while I'm pretty laid back in my everyday style — the office is not so much Managers are expected to wear blazers and
dress on the
more formal side of «business casual», which has honestly been quite a tough transition for me in the past (almost) year.

Thanksgiving is a day that I like to be super comfortable (preferably clothes that my stomach can get full in) but I also like to be a little bit
more dressed up than my
work out leggings.
For the wedding over the weekend, I opted for a different pair of shoes but wish I had worn these instead, as I love how the lines of the

work, I might relent and go for the

work in CT since people tend to wear
more muted colors.

dress code is a bit
more on the casual side than most).
The
more adventurous you become with your clothes, not only do you have a great time, you also get a lot
more use on every piece you own... who knows I might be going to bed in this slip
dress tonight and then to
work the next day if I want, let's not even get started with the tracktop!
Don't get me wrong, I've certainly done it but actually a shoe can really
dress up and smarten an outfit, so don't be afraid to walk to
work in your comfies but slip into something a little
more fancy when you get in the office.

worked an administrative job you betcha I would
dress up
more like this.
