I made this today for my lunches this week at
work for my hubby and I. I taste tested prior to portioning it for the week, tasty!
That little desk, while perfect for me (when not covered in crap), was in no way going to
work for my hubby.

I had my
hubby sharpen them with his handy, dandy, knife sharpener, and that
worked pretty well, and I could have kept using it

But don't worry I am sure I'll be making it again (I dipped some in leftover ganache
for Hubby to take to
work, the rest were used
for these ice cream cupcakes).
When I made them again
for the
hubby to take to
work, I formed smaller logs and dipped the baked biscotti in dark chocolate.
They were my mom's and my
hubbies Nana's... it all adds up to the whole flavour of the kitchen is * loving memories *... I USE the old rolling pin
for pies and cookies too... they
work still the BEST!
And if you wan na be a star in your
hubby's eyes, make him lunch
for work every day!
Made these today as a surprise

hubby left when you were 45, not 55; I, too, felt like — couldn't you have messed up when I was in my 30s and still young and «cute» instead of my mid-40s?!?! But, of course, that wouldn't have made a difference — we must find a place of acceptance or change what doesn't

Free internet in the rooms and around the hotel was great

It seems this technique addresses exactly our latching issue; we struggled to get the nipple deep enough to trigger her suckling response (and sandwiching the nipple to push it farther in her mouth didn't
work for my breast type) BUT I had been able to nurse two or three times successfully (45 - 60 min per latch) BEFORE I was given the nipple shield by the lactation consultants, so I know in my heart that it would have just taken practice and we could have gotten it... the consultants,
hubby, and mother - in - law just didn't have enough patience - they were all terrified she was starving.
