Since I first published the link, they have amended their page to say their culture doesn't
work on coconut milk yogurt.
Not all dairy yogurt cultures will
work on coconut milk, so you'll have to experiment a little.
I'm
working on a coconut milk free version so keep an eye out!

milk»... it
worked great!
It
works great and I like to keep a bottle around for baking with, but feel free to substitute soy -
milk curdled with a bit of lemon juice if you don't happen to have the cultured
coconut milk on hand.
I'm looking at the fudge recipe and trying to figure out how to adjust since I'm allergic to chocolate but use carob and to potatoes but I'm eating ranch dip from
coconut milk on sweet potato chips so it just might
work!
I have actually heard that the TJ's
coconut milk isn't necessarily BPA - free — check out some of the
work by Treehugger
on this.

Green curry is the next one
on my list to come up with a recipe for, but they all pretty much
work with
coconut milk and veggies.
The avocados and
coconut milk work really well together, and I can't tell you how refreshing this was
on a 95 degree day!
Then each morning I would reheat the pancakes (toaster oven is my favorite for reheating because it brings back the texture perfectly), assemble
on a plate, sprinkle
on some «snow» (I used unsweetened
coconut flakes, but powdered sugar would
work also), and serve with a tall glass of cold
milk!
As we mentioned earlier, if you plan
on just drinking
coconut milk (adding it to smoothies, coffee, etc.), carton
coconut milk will
work just fine.
Combining
coconut milk, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, and sweet spices, this ice cream is a fall treat,
on its own or served over a warm dessert.You can cook a fresh pumpkin for this recipe if you like, but canned
works just fine.

coconut milk on hand but decided to give the recipe a try with it anyway, and it
worked great.)
In the past I roasted chickpeas to top a soup, those would totally
work on this recipe too, but this time I have gone for a whole bunch of fresh corriander, flaked almonds, a sprinkling of chilli flakes and a swirl of
coconut milk.
Consider that maybe hemp
milk will
work, you just need to add a little bit of sugar (cane sugar, maple syrup, honey, etc) for the bacteria to feast
on, like in this
coconut milk recipe.

I have a coffee mocha ice cream using
coconut milk I've been
working on for months.
I haven't personally made this recipe dairy - free (here's my take
on that), but reputable brands of butter - flavored
coconut oil along with a little
coconut milk to lighten up the texture would probably
work well.
We used almond
milk when we were
working on reversing our son's dairy intolerance and I still often use it (or homemade
coconut milk) in recipes, coffee, or to drink simply because it is so inexpensive and easy to make.
Keep some frozen berries, gelatin, and

To make matters worse, I came across the Environmental
Working Group's 2015 report
on bisphenol - A in canned foods, and both brands of
coconut milk I was able to source locally, Thai Kitchen and A Taste of Thai, ranked in the «Worst Players» category for using cans lined with BPA.
