So today I've decided to
work on a dessert that I am sure my wife and kids will love, and that contains a smallish to decent amount of coconut oil.
While the presentation makes it look like you've been
working on this dessert for days, it actually requires very little effort.

I made something similar last year and it was so good and actually would
work just as well as a
dessert with ice cream
on top.
I really love Amber Shea Crawley's first book Practically Raw, so I was super excited when I heard she was
working on a follow up
dessert book.
I've been traveling a ton, as well as
working on a new solo cookbook and wrapping up the
desserts for the Forks Over Knives cookbook.
They're the # 1
dessert choice, all the time, so finding new cookie mix - ins and flavors is one thing I'm always

I guess my point is that since I don't make New Years resolutions (but do set big picture goals that I'd like to
work on), I'm going to continue baking and eating

on your mashed potatoes, having more people involved during big (or small) get - togethers not only offloads some of your
work, leaving you with more time to focus

work, or even if I'm just hanging out with Max in our garden or
on the couch, my mind typically isn't focused
on dessert.
This was such a fun project for me to
work on as it played
on one of my strengths — raw
desserts!

dessert or a snack (I know, I've been munching
on them all week!).

When I was
working on recipe development for my digital cookbook, A Year of Cauliflower Rice, I really wanted to come up with a
dessert recipe that included cauliflower «rice» and chocolate.
Rice milk is naturally quite sweet, so
works well
on cereal, in smoothies and as a replacement milk in
desserts.
I rely
on smoothie bowls for muscle recovery (and a
dessert - like treat) after
working out and this one is next
on my list to try!
By her senior year of high school, she was already busy
working on her first cookbook, a vegan
dessert book titled My Sweet Vegan.
Cornmeal shortbread crust is baked
on its own, then spread with a sweetened sour cream filling and topped with basil - infused berries; piquant varieties of basil
work best, enhancing the

dessert had to be something that people would want to eat after Phoebe's voluptuous stew, that I could carry with me
on the subway without damage, and that wouldn't completely wreck my kitchen (baking would occur circa 10 pm
on a Monday).
But they
work just as well

As a pastry chef just starting a new business that promotes health and wellness not only through my
desserts but through the company I
work for, Isagenix, it is great to see new ideas
on how to make this line of
work fun and good for others.
Working alongside the good people at Cooking Light
on a daily basis has only increased my appetite for healthy foods and inspired me by proving that I can satisfy my sweet tooth without eating
desserts that are loaded with processed sugar, dyes, and additives.
I plan
on making this cake for Easter this weekend so my dad can actually partake in a
dessert, and if it
works (I am a terrible cook) then again for my son's first birthday in a few weeks.
I can't complain, I'm
working on some exciting projects — one of them being the very first cooking workshop (vegan and gluten - free Valentine's Day
dessert themed!)
I'm
working on a few more non - chocolate / no sugar
desserts like this so keep an eye out x
I
