Being in public accounting and having to work 10 or more hour days, adding color to
my work wardrobe does make those long days bearable.

The rest of the things I ended up getting I mostly got out of boredom — after a while I just wanted to wear something besides my capsule

Back to the outfit, so I didn't allow myself to buy anything new for the occasion because money's tight an» all, which meant I had to spend about an hour pulling everything out of my
wardrobe, primarily because I was trying to
work out what I owned that matched this coat.
It's very rare that I buy a stand alone outfit these days in fact I don't think I've bought anything that doesn't
work with at least a quarter of my existing

do you begin?
While it doesn't always
work out that way for me, it's the classics that invariably find a permanent spot in my
wardrobe.
And I want my entire
wardrobe to
work with as much of the rest as possible — since I don't have a
work dress code, I can freely mix casual and dressy.
As you know, I have lots of black in my
wardrobe and find it
works best for me if the shape or fabric is unusual, or if I add pop of colour like bright tights so I don't look too severe.
Does the colour
work with other pieces in my
wardrobe?
Maybe now that you don't need a five - day - a-week
work wardrobe you can invest (guilt free) in a few more «show pony» pieces.
Do I feel constrained or more free in my
wardrobe choices due to wearing a tichel to
work?
I've still got a lot of
work to
do on that, but I'm definitely coming round to the idea of adding some quality items to my
wardrobe.
I
did folllow some of your suggestions on a ravel
wardrobe for my trip to London last week, and it
worked bery well, but I used skirts instead of pants as I was afraid of being too hot in August in slacks.
I hope I don't have to hand over my fashion blogger card, but now that I don't
work in an office, I have a simpler
wardrobe.

You don't have to spend a ton of money on maternity clothes to make your

Let's talk about Spring — I know it isn't here, but that doesn't mean it can't start to
work its way into our
wardrobes, starting with a little pale pink.
See, my winter casual style is not much to write home about (I much prefer dressing for summer weekends, or summer period), and I don't particularly enjoy getting creative with those clothes, unlike my
work wardrobe.
That said I would love to

work until April.
Don't get me wrong, I love to shop most of the time and add new pieces to my
wardrobe, but I also need to come back down from the clouds and realize that I have plenty to play and
work with.

When I started
working out three or four days a week last spring, I quickly realized that I needed to make an investment in my workout
wardrobe because I only had a couple of viable leggings and tops for exercising — and considering I only
do laundry every ten days or so, it was much - needed.

do have a few lingering pieces in my

working VERY hard on making sure my
