The first time someone tried to get me to use this I was thinking «put that grandma equipment away and give me some real weights», but it turns out, the Bosu ball is seriously one of the most challenging and versatile pieces of
workout equipment I use on a regular basis now.

For those of you wanting to get up off the floor, Studio Pilates
uses equipment such as the Reformer, which
uses a sliding platform on a system of pulleys and springs to increase the resistance of your Pilates

For everyone out there that can't or don't want to go to a gym, for those that don't want to
use any
equipment and for the minimalists that don't want a complicated
workout there is a simple exercise and a simple
workout that can give you excellent results when it comes to building stamina and overall body conditioning.
You'll need to experiment to find out your sweet spot - but for me personally I focus on doing 3 resistance style
workouts per week (either
using my bodyweight, or some
equipment), 1 - 2 cardio sessions per week - one being a HIIT (high intensity interval training) or Tabata
workout, and the other being either a run, a spin class or something else that's just fun and gets me going if I have time and energy.
So instead of going to the gym for sauna
use and working out there, we now have a low - EMF infrared sauna in our home and have purchased
workout equipment we actually
use (kettlebells, free weights, pull up bar, etc.).
