Some of the missions may feel tenuous at times or downright frustrating, but the story has a military feel, missions are challenging, and
it works as a sniper game.

On a more positive note: The maps are huge and unique in geography, the vehicles are very much fun to use, all of them, except maybe the inflatable landing boats, and the combat roles the different classes play out is refreshing: The
sniper can lay down claymores and sit back, plinking enemies from, in some maps, perhaps up to a quarter of a mile away, considering he / she is good, and has a good gaming rig, the combat medic can heal allies, and revive those who were fragged, saving them from having to respawn back at base, the support guy can lay down suppressing fire and resupply his allies with ammo, the spec ops guy can sabotage bridges, vehicles, and team assets (such
as artillery and UAV trailers) with sticky C4 charges (pity the soldier who takes off in a jet only to have it explode in midflight from a hidden c4 charge stuck on it's body), The engineer repairs vehicles and lays down anti-tank mines, the anti-armour troop
works on destroying said vehicles with wire - guided rockets (note that the armour guy in bf2 has his own gun ALONG with a pistol, not just a pistol like in 1942), and the assault guy....
Now he'll have a chance to shine
as Linsky, a criminal who
works for the villain to be played by Werner Herzog,
as Jack Reacher (Cruise) tries to uncover the truth behind a strange set of
sniper killings in which they're involved.
While I'm still
working to accept Tom Cruise
as the story's lead character, I think Brit Marling would be tremendous
as Helen Rodin, the attorney who is drawn into a web of lies after a
sniper guns down several people on a downtown midwest sidewalk.
New to the group is pretty boy and Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth
as a goody - goody
sniper soldier who contemplates that this type of dangerous
work may not be cut out for him.
On that level, and in the intense portrayal of
sniper duty while in active combat situations, the movie
works as a standalone experience.
No shame — it represents dozens of hours of
work towards each week's new challenges, tests that reward you for playing well (get three
sniper kills, scavenge seven chests at Tilted Towers), and some more off - the - wall quests that'll have you treating each match
as a treasure hunt instead of a survival gauntlet.
Finally there's Overwatch, a two player
sniper and spotter game mode, which
as the name suggests, one player is the Spotter, the other the
Sniper, and have to
work together to finish the level.
With the option to have our backups
as a
sniper, a air based sidekick or the ever faithful dog Boomer (14/10 would pet after every liberation), you're set to
work playing through the mission.
Much like the last game, competitive multiplayer
works about
as well
as you would imagine when 12
snipers face - off.
