The exhibition venue for photography and visual media shows
works by renowned artists, promotes emerging talent and accompanies children, youths and adults on their journeys of discovery through our visual culture.
Spanning the 1930s to the present, the Kurenboh group features
works by renowned artists Naoya Hatakeyama, Daido Moriyama, Shōmei Tōmatsu, and Ken Morisawa, as well as numerous pictures by emerging and contemporary Japanese photographers whose work has yet to debut in the United States, such as Masumi Kura, Toshiya Murakoshi, and Keiko Sasaoka.
Along with its equally exciting partner Frieze Masters (a showcase of
works by renowned artists from before 2000), the fair debuts in the peak of the fall season, offering a venue for galleries from across the world to highlight their most exceptional works.
Paintings by many noted artists with New Mexico connections such as Georgia O'Keeffe, Richard Diebenkorn, Agnes Martin, and Frederick Hammersley, are represented in the collection, as are
works by renowned artists from the East and West Coasts, and from Europe including Bridget Riley, Robert Ryman, Joan Brown, and Bruce Connor.
Works by renowned artists from three American regional schools will allow the Gallery to represent more of the variety of American work produced in the 20th century beyond the major art centers of New York and Los Angeles.
The collection now includes 16
works by renowned artists, including Stella, David Hockney, Jenny Holzer, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Rauschenberg, and most recently, Olafur Eliasson.
Constructive Spirit includes
works by renowned artists including Joaquín Torres - García, Arshile Gorky, Gyula Kosice and Jesús Rafael Soto, as well as artists who deserve much wider recognition, such as Geraldo de Barros, Lidy Prati and Charmion von Wiegand.
Also on view were
works by renowned artists El Anatsui, Helen Frankenthaler, Jeff Koons, David LaChapelle, Vik Muniz, Tal R, Joel Shapiro, Mickalene Thomas, and Donald Sultan.
The NorthPark Center art collection features major
works by renowned artists including Andy Warhol, Frank Stella, Joel Shapiro, Jim Dine, Jonathan Borofsky, James Rosenquist, Antony Gormley, Barry Flanagan and Beverly Pepper, among others.
