Robinson is a resident fellow at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), where he works on education policy issues including choice in public and private schools, regulatory development and implementation of K - 12 laws, the role of for - profit institutions in education, prison education and reentry, rural education, and the role of community colleges and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in adult advancement.

We will be joined by Chris Nielson from New Zealand who will be looking at collaboration between primary, secondary and early years settings, Marie - Claire Bretherton from England who will be sharing her experience of peer review as a powerful vehicle for school improvement, leadership development and culture change, Matt Carver from Australia who will share his experience of collaboration in rural and remote communities and Rodney Eckhert and Nancy Sabo in Ontario who will share their collaborative work with elementary school teachers and students.

We also have an online cohort for those teachers working in rural communities.

Johnson County Library — Overland Park, KS Year: 2005 Amount: Grant: National Award for Library Service A myriad of successful programs that benefit all areas of Johnson County, Kansas, from the suburbs to small towns and rural communities, distinguish the work of the Johnson County Library.

The HRSA offers limited scholarship and grant opportunities, but has several programs that feature low - interest loans and some loan forgiveness programs for doctors and nurses, especially those willing to live and work in underserved rural and urban communities.

Canada Student Loan Forgiveness for Family Doctors and Nurses If you are working as a family doctor, resident in family medicine, nurse or nurse practitioner in a designated rural or remote community, you may be eligible to have a portion of your Canada Student Loan forgiven.

The APOWA programme «Children for Working Animal Welfare in Rural Areas of Odisha State,» champions an animal welfare curriculum while simultaneously training young welfare ambassadors to spread the welfare message to their communities.

Dr. Kiselow's passion for veterinary medicine also includes volunteer work: while in veterinary school, he traveled to multiple locations in the U.S. and Central America with Rural Area Veterinary Services (RAVS), providing medical attention to pets in underprivileged communities.

We are working in rural areas to provide veterinary care for working animals, especially oxen, which are heavily depended upon by communities to pull ploughs and transport produce.

Dr. Kraus also worked for a private clinic providing low cost veterinary care to rural, underserved communities.

Rural Australians are definitely people we should consider as role models for the way they work through the good and the bad that the world throws at them; and the presence of community they share, particularly when things get rough.
