I wish the
movie weren't so visually junky - looking, and that the CGI

World's End is such a good time purely as a film about men
of forty reconnecting and reflecting on their youth that you don't want that
movie to end and become simply a springboard for more graphic

Of course all the comedy in the
world doesn't make a MARVEL
movie a MARVEL
movie; it's the
action sequences and finally seeing our favorite heroes kicking ass and taking names.
While Tom Cruise's reputation as an
action actor in Jack Reacher, the Mission: Impossible
movies, Minority Report and War
of the
Worlds holds up in this story, the film's content, much like the content in his other
movies, pushes Oblivion outside the realm
of general family viewing.
It seems as if nothing with George Miller's «Mad Max: Fury Road» is as it should be: It's a relentless
action movie that played at one
of the
world's most prestigious film festivals.
Michael Peña's portrayal
of Luis in Marvel's «Ant - Man» adaptation brought a sense
of real
world levity to the otherwise wacky superhero
action movie about a man who can punch harder when he becomes very small.
The stars turned out this week for the
world premiere
of 2 Guns, the new
action movie that teams up Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg.
Danny gives it a whirl, only to find that he is transported into the Jack Slater
movie itself, living in the fictional
world of action heroes and
movie clichés.
At this point, the question shouldn't be whether the
world needs a live
action Metroid
movie but which genre should it be; thriller, horror, a mix
of the two or something else entirely?
But he is Brad Pitt, luckily, so he can still play the lead in
action movies like
World War Z. Pitt is one
of Hollywood's most reliable and beloved stars, someone with tremendous acting chops who also plays the whole fame game masterfully, and does his fair bit
of philanthropy on the side.

of two films while watching At
World's End, and the first is Miami Vice, a beautiful, expositionless tone poem
of a film in an
action movie's clothing.

after seeing everything that was new and having really no other option i went to see this
movie and wow what a pleasant surprise good

of humor i must say that I have to recommend the
movie to any one who is a fan

A high - octane chase
movie at its core, Mad Max: Fury Road drops you right into the middle
of the
action and expects you to keep up with this strange new
world.

In all, the
movie worked reasonably well through its 133 - minute runtime with a likable group
of misfits, carefully executed
action sequences, and just enough humor to stray not too far from the dirty, harsh
world of 19th century America, giving the post-Civil War a whole new perspective regarding the racial diversity and its impact.
Part
of the reason was simply because Tolkien did not have very many battles in the first part
of his book, which thankfully forced Jackson to focus on creating a believable
world rather than a believable hack - n - slash
action movie.
But in retrospect re-inventing the Batman franchise as a tough - as - nails

of improvisation along the way.
