I wish I knew about my own life, death,
the world of nothingness, the presence of the sky, artistic philosophy and the history of humankind.
As a yogi gradually seeps into yogic sleep, they are drawn far away into
the world of nothingness, while they remain fully aware of their presence, their body and their existence.

But, theologically, the
world which modern man knows as «chaos» or «
nothingness» is homologous with the
world that eschatological faith knows as «old aeon» or «old creation» — both
worlds are stripped
of every fragment
of positive meaning and value.
If the death
of God has resurrected an authentic
nothingness, then faith can no longer greet the
world as the «creation.»
It is then forced in freedom to choose either to postulate a fundamental

of philosophy is one
of escape: all multiplicity, change, particularity, every feature
of the living
world, is not only accidental to this formless identity, but a kind
of falsehood, and to recover the truth that dwells within, one must detach oneself from what lies without, including the sundry incidentals
of one's individual existence; truth is oblivion
of the flesh, a pure
nothingness, to attain which one must sacrifice the
world.
For, as I say, we moderns believe in nothing: the
nothingness of the will miraculously giving itself form by mastering the
nothingness of the
world.

of God's presence in the fallen
world: his image, his bride, the deep joy and longing
of creation, called from
nothingness to be joined to him.
