Striped Basics are the best... I picked it up on the same day as this
dress and I know how much you loved that one, but I'm not really doing this striped beauty any justice as you can't really see it,
though it's a great little comfortable piece for
wearing with sneakers and also layering it up like I do here

I love Western looks and
wear them quite a lot myself,

dressed - down
with jeans rather than skirts.
That's the kind of outfit which I
wear on a very regular basis (
though with derby shoes instead of loafers), but I actually never considered it «boyish»:) I love
wearing my leather jacket
with dresses / skirts, to really make a strong contrast in the outfit!
It came
with me to the USA for my October trip to attend a friend's wedding in Virginia and visit another friend in Texas, and
though I massively overpacked for that trip and ordered at least 6 other
dresses to greet my arrival at my friend's house I
wore it twice on that 17 day trip.
It ended up being a chilly, drizzly day so even
though I originally wanted to
wear a fun
dress or my red skirt I went
with jeans instead.
The kaftan,
though, is not to be confused
with the djellaba, a traditional
dress worn by both men and women in Morocco.
I love that even
though it's in the upper 90's here in TX right now, I can
wear this bomber jacket over a tank or
dress (like this floral
dress I just bought to
wear with it) at night and tied around my waist for a cool girl look during the day.
Offsetting an edgy, look - at - me hue
with barely there construction, ultra-sexy dark gold platforms (
worn to the Hunger Games Paris premiere) are the perfect complement to a daring
dress —
though they'd be equally amazing
with a pencil skirt or dark jeans.
Even
though in the»90s I wasn't that into fashion, as a kid I always say my mom
wearing these kind of big jackets
with oversized sleeves or shoulders and high waist skirts and wanted also to
dress like that.
This is another one I can re-create
though I have
worn a striped
dress with my navy blazer before.
