Another MAJOR part of why fructose is
worse than other sugars is because it is «isocaloric but not isometabolic.»
There's a lot of conflicting information out there on whether the sweetener is
any worse than other sugars, and I'm as confused as anyone.

I try to eat 85 - 90 % though so usually no more
than 10 gs of
sugar in the whole bar which I figure isn't all that
bad when I generally don't eat any
other sugar.
This is because it has a higher fructose content
than other forms of
sugar (which are also
bad in large quantities).
Other than maybe you slowly eliminated
bad carbs and completely cut out refined
sugars — is there really any difference?
It wreaks havoc in the body, and most of us are suffering from it due to our highly acidic diets (ie.diets filled with junk foods, refined
sugars and animal products — especially dairy), some of these animal products are
worse than others, but most are highly flammatory.
Even
worse than conventional
sugar - sweetened soda pop, though, is «diet» soda pop and various
other diet beverages and foods.
