Before I go on to report the ins and outs of the current injury situation at Arsenal Football Club, I would just like to remind you about how our club is having it much
worse than the other clubs fighting with us for the Premier League title and any other trophy we are hoping to win.
Not exact matches
Our rivalry goes back decades and generations, the moment we moved from Woolwich to North London it has been that way... I can watch Chelski, United, Liverpool, City etc win the league and I will be okay, but Spuds even finishing in the Top 4 is
worse to me
than the
other clubs winning the CL or EPL..
In the long run this will damage the
club and its value a lot more
than saving 5 or 10 million pounds by not paying more
than 35 million for a Lacazette or
other badly needed player.
If you love the
club, missing just one home game in the scale of things is hardly
worse than sitting through 18
other home games (and 19 away games) witnessing the pathetic decapitulation by our team as in the opening home game against Liverpool (likewise we saw against Aston Villa, and WestHam in the last three years).
Both Rafael and Antonio Valencia have struggled in the role and with no
other alternatives the
club could do a lot
worse than signing Southampton's Clyne.
If you have supported a professional football
club in England for any significant period of time, then at some point you're more
than likely to have cheered and clapped a few, maybe more, of the following: racists, sexists, homophobes, bigots, petty criminals,
bad husbands,
bad fathers, adulterers, tax dodgers, wife - beaters, liars, people who don't close the tops of cereal boxes, Conservatives, and instances of any of the
other shades and shapes of the evil that men do.
Plus, if Whatsitbang is available, there will be
other big
clubs in for him who will pay close to what Sanchez is looking for, so we'd be in a
worse position
than now, no Sanchez and no Whatsitbang.
This Manager would have been sacked 10 years ago at any
other Top Premier League
club for his complete mis - management which has led to us being in a far
worse position
than when he took over and made us the current laughing stock of European Football.
I don't believe that Arsenal get any
worse decisions
than any
other club, nor do I think we are unlucky.
there is no doubting that Arsene has helped to provide us with some incredible footballing moments in the formative years of his managerial career at Arsenal, but that certainly doesn't and shouldn't mean that he has earned the right to decide when and how he should leave this
club... there have been numerous managers at each of the biggest
clubs in Europe throughout the last decade who have waged far more successful campaigns
than ours yet somehow and someway each were given their walking papers because they failed to meet the standards laid out by the hierarchy of their respective
clubs... of course that doesn't mean that
clubs should simply follow the lead of
others, especially if
clubs of note have become too reactionary when it comes to issues of termination, for whatever reasons, but there should be some logical discourse when it comes to the setting of parameters for a changing of the guard... in the case of Arsenal, this sort of discourse was largely stifled when the higher - ups devised their sinister plan on the eve of our move to the Emirates... by giving Wenger a free pass due to supposed financial constraints he, unwittingly or not, set the bar too low... it reminds me of a landlord who says he will only rent to «professional people» to maintain a certain standard then does a complete about face when the market is lean and vacancies are up... for those who rented under the original mandate they of course feel cheated but there is little they can do, except move on, especially if the landlord clearly cares more about profitability
than keeping their word... unfortunately for the lifelong fans of a football
club it's not so easy to switch allegiances and frankly why should they, in most cases we have been around far longer
than them... so how does one deal with such an untenable situation... do you simply shut - up and hope for the best, do you place the best interests of those with only self - serving agendas above the collective and pray that karma eventually catches up with them, do you run away with your tail between your legs and only return when things have ultimately changed, do you keep trying to find silver linings to justify your very existence, do you lower your expectations by convincing yourself it could be
worse or do you stand up for what you believe in by holding people accountable for their actions, especially when every fiber of your being tells you that something is rotten in the state of Denmark
Lately, however, I have not seen a major problem that indicates the officiating is much
worse for Arsenal
than for
other clubs.

than the management our opinions for a day its about how you show you solidarity as a

bad seasons compared to twenty great seasons and had our strikers finished their chances this year in 5 or six key matches we'd be sitting pretty reall only 3 or two and a draw or saw and we'd be sittingin the thick of itextend now that the board an owner are willing to spend snails for him finally atleast a little more

bad news that are good for arsenal fans coz it means we may have a break of seeing favouritism for at least the remaining part of the season... otherwise «set back» is being used at arsenal more

Although it will be incredibly difficult to ever match his contributions on the pitch, it's vitally important for a former
club legend, like Henry, to publicly address his concerns regarding the direction of this
club... regardless of those who still feel that Henry has some sort of agenda due to the backlash he received following earlier comments he made on air regarding Arsenal, he has an intimate understanding of the game, he knows the fans are being hosed and he feels some sense of obligation, both professionally and personally, to tell it like he sees it... much like I've continually expressed over the last couple months, this team isn't evolving under this current ownership / management team... instead we are currently experiencing a «stagnant» phase in our
club's storied history... a fact that can't be hidden by simply changing the formation or bringing in one or two individuals... this team needs fundamental change in the way it conducts business both on and off the pitch or it will continue to slowly devolve into a second tier
club... regardless of the euphoria surrounding our escape act on Friday evening, as it stands, this
club is more likely to be fighting for a Europa League spot for the foreseeable future
than a top 4 finish... we can't hope for the failures of
others to secure our place in the top 4, we need to be the manufacturers of our own success by doing whatever is necessary to evolve as an organization... if Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke can't take the necessary steps following the debacle they manufactured last season, their removal is imperative for our future success... unfortunately, I strongly believe that either they don't know how to proceed in the present economic climate or they are unwilling to do whatever it takes to turn this ship around... just look at the current state of our squad, none of our world class players are under contract beyond this season, we have a ridiculous wage bill considering the results, we can't sell our deadwood because we've mismanaged our personnel decisions and contractual obligations, we haven't properly cultivated our younger talent and we might have become one of the
worst clubs ever when it comes to way we handle our transfer business, which under Dein was one of our greatest assets... it's time to get things right!!!
As for the infighting I'm sure it will continue. All Wenger lovers will pounce on the first
bad result. Most will hopefully leave with him.I will NEVER applaud or recognise what he did for this
Club other than make HIMSELF and US a laughing stock.
Kroenke was the
worst thing that happened to a
club that was already being run by silver spooned ex merchant bankers and assorted lords and ladies who have NO interest in anything
other than share prices rising and a profit margin that guarantee's a profit each year, Wenger is the ideal front man for this soulless bunch and while I honestly belive that he does care about the
club, his ethos and methods suit the board right down to a tee.
