the worst Sonic games ever.
In the end, Sonic Generations is not
the worst Sonic game I've played, but it's far from the best either.
A complete mess from a gameplay point if view, since that way they made sure there is not one good and proper Sonic stage...

Sonic has had a good year so far with a return to form in Sonic Mania after many years of
bad Sonic games.
My favorite franchises include Persona, Pokemon, and Rune Factory, as well as a guilty pleasure for
bad Sonic games.
Surely if Sega could pump out

bad Sonic game, why couldn't they release Sakura Wars?

Sonic 4: Episode 2 certainly isn't the
worst game to grace the series over the years, but not even the most steadfast
Sonic fans will fondly remember Episode 2 as one of their favorites, if it is remembered at all.
Sonic Forces is not a
bad game; those of you who do really enjoy the gameplay mechanics of Generations or Colors, you'll be in for a treat.

Overall
Sonic Adventures DX is not a
bad looking
game but is held back by its poor framerate, which really can become a problem when a lot of things start popping up on the screen.
For a
game that is four years old
Sonic Team did not do a half
bad job of trying to update it.
This is only a costume for your Felyne companion in the
game though, so don \» t expect to be able to dress up as
Sonic yourself and run around jumping on

I'm sorry, but I'll agree
Sonic games in general have been pretty
bad for quite a long time, but this
game wasn't developed by the guys that made those
Sonic games and it shows.
The good steps taken by
Sonic Team are unfortunately marred by an equal number of misguided decisions largely resultant by a lack of
games to use as a model — this is a
game that broke new ground, and it shows, for better and for
worse.
Off topic one last time) Still i'm not just talking about IGN, every single review I have seen about
Sonic Lost World, the highest one was from Gametrailers and that was 7.6, the rest are below a 6, or below 3 stars, its ridiculous, yet these
Sonic fans still don't believe the reviews and think their just
bad, and the
game not
bad.
The other new
Sonic games (haven't played Lost World yet — but judging by some user impressions it's a few good levels and a few really
bad levels again) are
bad IMHO.
I put in some time playing
Sonic Mania at E3 2017, and I have to say — despite the
bad feelings from
Sonic the Hedgehog 4 and mixed feelings from
Sonic Generations, I am about as on board as I can be with this
game.
Sonic is an exception, because we thought that would actually be a decent

I think Paper Mario enters more that category of «a good
Sonic game in a
bad series of
Sonic games».
The
Sonic game offers no equivalent of a blue shell, and that's not a
bad thing, imo.
The
Sonic series has had its fair share of
bad games, including the infamous
Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) and the horribly bugged
Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric.
Players who loved
Sonic Mania will be disappointed to hear that these are probably the
worst stages in the
game.
Some of their most popular
games include: Alpha Protocol, Darksiders, Deponoia, Evoland II, Red Faction: Armageddon,
Sonic the Hedgehog 4, Stars Wars Battlefront II, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Strong
Bad's Homestar Ruiner, The Walking Dead: A Telltale
Games Series and The Cave.
And Mario 64 is a
bad example because it's the exact opposite of
Sonic's 3D
games.
Like from what I heard it wasn't
bad, but it really didn't feel like a
Sonic game.
While many older
games have aged
badly, the four SEGA
Sonic titles are amongst my favourite to return to for a dose of -LSB-...]
Secondly, there are mine - cart sections where you have to jump at the right time to clear gaps, and lastly there are a few sections that require you to «tilt» the stage in order to move water to push a plug from the wall, whilst stopping
Sonic from sinking into some spikes — this bit was pretty
badly executed, and one of the
worst elements of the
game, but it's easy once you know how, and only lasts a few seconds.
Now, while that
game isn't horrible, the mechanics weren't in tiptop shape and the
game progressively got
worse as you played through it (a trademark
Sonic Team thing, the first level being the most polished and things drop off eventually from there).
This is a difficult question; even though Saturn has difficult hardware,
bad 3D ports, missing real 3D
Sonic games, I love it and it's my favorite.
Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric and
Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal were the
worst selling
Sonic games in the history of the franchise.
Fans have debated over where
Sonic games started going downhill for years, and I'm of the belief that once the Dreamcast died the franchise took a turn for the
worse.
Anyone looking for inspiration for how to make
Sonic good again could do a lot
worse than look at this
game
Had the Knuckles / Rogue stages been scrapped for more fast paced
Sonic / Shadow levels the
game would be much more fun as those levels are the
worst part of the entire experience.
