On another note Jesus affirmed the seriousness
of rebellion
against God, affirmed a coming judgment, and yet taught his followers that they are to love their enemies and leave room for the

of a company or its owner is not the point, it is when Dan Cathy «came out» and publicly proclaimed his position that gays should be deprived

Aside from the fact that this is an example
of that penal substitution view rearing it's head, for in this view,
God hates sin, and is angry at sinners, and so must kill His Son as a way to appease His own
wrath against sin (which doesn't make much biblical or theological sense), the real reason I was shocked to read this statement is because it is the exact opposite
of what Paul actually says in Romans 8:32!
And yet there are vast numbers
of Christians who believe that
God commands people to slaughter others, that
God drowned people in a flood, and that
God is the one who killed His own Son on the cross to appease His own
wrath and anger
