I work full - time, and I used to spend my free time daydreaming

wrote about a survey of 700 mothers — working and SAHMs; regardless of «title,» a whopping 90 % of respondents were losing
sleep over the exact same concerns (stressing over money, worrying
about the kids, finding enough time for their partner and managing the household).

Therefore, I have read just
about every article or prose that was ever
written on the subject of
sleeping (i.e. Ferberizing, the Sears Method, etc) and have not only considered statistics (and yes, even those given on the SIDS website and the AAP website), but I have also taken into account what is best for not only me, but my baby.
Some mothers are concerned that nursing to
sleep could cause tooth decay, but breastfeeding rarely causes this (and is never the main cause of tooth decay; this is an article I
wrote about this topic).
If I
wrote a book
about our plan, it would be called, «The Slow & Steady Way To Get Your Baby To
Sleep More Than They Are Now But Not Quite As Much As You'd Like.»

I'll be
writing about co -
sleeping / bedsharing as well as cloth diaper types and accessories.
In the 25 years we've been
writing about juvenile products like bassinets and cribs, we've never seen a manufacturer of a
sleep space that requires you to sign away legal liability for using it with your baby.
I expressed on FB some exasperation
about my 2.5 yo daughter taking something like 2 hours to fall asleep one night last year — mostly because I'd hoped to get some stuff done before I got my pregnant self to bed, too — and a friend had the gall to
write something
about my daughter should be long past nursing to
sleep & / or wanting me to lie down with her as she fell asleep.
