This has brought out a slew of unscrupulous POD publishers who prey on naïve authors knowing these
writers are willing to pay money to
see their
work in print.

My advice to aspiring
writers is don't let anyone tell you that self - published books are not the way to go — because
in fact — traditional publishing is fraught with marketing politics and potential years of waiting to
see your
work in print.
