One thing I noticed in researching this piece and
writing about the topic over the years is that people tend to think of past Oscar lineups as older than they actually were.
Ruth Bird, Susannah Tredwell, and I have
each written about this topic over the last couple of years.
Not exact matches
power / control is one of my favorite
topics as well — i see one of Jesus» three wilderness temptations as being
about that — and of course He rejected satan's offer of worldly power — i've

I'll be

about family - friendly recipes and new motherhood, two
topics that are near and dear to me.

So, I started by
writing a massive list of
topics that I could potentially cover and then popped
over to Instagram to see what other creatives were posting
about to see if I had missed anything that might be helpful.

One of my favorite parts
about writing a personal blog is being able to choose changing
topics that are interesting & relevant to me
over the years, be it travel, food, beauty, fashion, etc..
When she's not
writing about fashion and beauty, she researches
topics related to relationships and mulls
over her own love life.

I think it's great these professional organizations are allowing indie authors into their groups, though I suspect
over time they too will come to recognize how commercial results alone are an inadequate measure of professionalism because ultimately they'll shut out professional authors — wonderful writers — who
write about unpopular or arcane
topics.
He's
written about topics as heady and diverse as grown men and women fake fighting
over fictional grievances, books
about dragons and millionaire playboys that dress as bats.

After struggling
over the last week or so to find something to
write about for this blog, today finds me in the position of trying to pare down
topics into something manageable.
