mysteries to sci - fi to poetry, your
writing is only limited by your imagination.
And those novels, just like novels in genres like science
fiction and
mystery, share common elements but vary in quality, depending on how well they're
written.
There isn't a bad film in the bunch, and really, this is some of the greatest
mystery fiction ever
written.
Founded by Robert Randisi and Ed Gorman in the late 1980s to bring together professional
mystery authors in a private forum to exchange ideas, the American Crime Writers League is still going strong in the 21st century as a
writing organization for serious and proven writers of
mystery fiction.

I've now self - published a number of
fiction and non-
fiction books, and I'm also currently
writing the second in a cosy
mystery series of seven, the Sophie Sayers Village Mystery Coll

However, I don't think my
writing even fits into that box very well since my first book had hallmarks of both Christian
fiction and the
mystery / thriller.
It's interesting that the post did not list historical
fiction, let alone historical
mystery, my own genre of
writing.
Today I'm an award - winning novelist and
write in three genres (young adult adventure fantasy, paranormal / fantasy romance for adults, science
fiction mystery), and run a successful business as a coach and consultant for authors.
After I left traditional publishing, I taught
fiction writing classes and
wrote some nonfiction but it wasn't until the other Sun City Sluts and I started
writing our
mystery that I really got excited again.
