Like, I'm going to be
wrong about players projections sometimes, but I was pretty sure I wasn't wrong this time, and calling him a bust was kinda like saying my evaluation skills were trash.

By the way, and I haven't got time to make the list now, to balance out Wenger's past «failures» in the transfer market someone should compile a list of
players this board and others shouted
about and derided AW for not buying where he was subsequently proved more right than
wrong.
whether for the right or
wrong reasons, our leader chose to stay on when things took a turn of sorts... a new owner arrived on the scene, plans for a new stadium emerged and Wenger became the bearer of bad news... he sold us on a new story, one that required patience on our parts... financial constraints were the order of the day, so that the enormous sums spent on the new venue could be recouped... although some would question the validity of such claims, why wouldn't they believe their faithful leader... according to those within the hierarchy, the future never looked so bright, as this new home would ensure our place among the elites for years to come... as we all know now these claims were a well constructed fabrication and so those who feel they were duped in the process are infuriated and rightly so... the fact that this club and it's manager have continually misled the fans, especially following Gazidis's claims
about our financial liquidity, simply rubbed more salt in an already gaping wound... this surely isn't how you treat your «family», especially when they supported you through the supposed «lean» years... it was a dirty trick played by Kroenke but the fact is was orchestrated by Wenger himself hurt the most... as for those in the media, many of whom are former
players or longtime pundits, who observed the early years firsthand, saw this as the perfect opportunity to vent the anger they felt towards this pretentious man once and for all... all in all, karma's a bitch
We can wx lyrical all day long
about who is right and who is
wrong and as to why we are just not performing but it really only boils down to the fact that the Board has NO ambition, Wenger has lost his cutting edge and the
players we now have seem to have no team ethos
about them.
Everyone who cares
about this club and is in a position to do something that matters should really sit down and think for a long moment
about what we've become, I don't care if it takes our preseason just ensure our mentally, manager,
players or whatever is
wrong with us doesn't follow us into the next season
broad statements
about whom and where to beat or which
players should score how many goals on average are just unnecessary statements which says nothing
about the title, only throwaway opinion from the pundits who have no plans, every singlw title winner in the last 10 years will have drawn at home against teams they were expected to beat, nothing
wrong there

Something is fundamentally

You could not be more
wrong about comparing paulinho to gambau, he is a brazil national team starter FFS and against roma he wad surely missed with his pace and physicality but i think he is not a barca kind of

player and we can use him as back up for rotation
off topic: looking at Leicester this season compared to last year, except for

Mertz should never have been our captain in the first place... who has ever heard of a team that makes 11th hour transfer buys (Arteta & Mertz) then seemingly places those same individuals into prominent leadership positions from the get - go... indicative of the problems that have permeated our clubhouse for the better part of 7 years under the Kroenke & Wenger... what is
wrong with the
players chosen and / or the management style of Wenger that doesn't develop and / or encourage strong leadership from within... Mertz was the fine collecting lackey from year one... this is what happens when you don't get world - class
players because many times they want to have a voice on and off the pitch and this can't happen when you play for a fragile manager who has developed a coddling wage structure where everyone is rewarded for simply wearing the shirt and participating in the process... not enough balance between performance and pay, combined with the obvious favoritism shown to some
players regardless of their glaring lack of production... remember that Ramsey has played in positions that make no sense considering his skill - set (out wide) and has forced other
players off the field or into equally unfamiliar positions with little or no justification (let's remember when you read articles
about how Ramsey's goals this upcoming season being the potential X-factor for our success that this is the same individual who didn't score a goal until the final week last season)... this of course is just one example of many... before I hear another word from Mertz I want this club to address the fact that no former
player of any real consequence has any important role in the management structure of this club, yet several former Gunners have expressed serious interest in just such an endeavor (Henry, Viera, Adams, Bergkamp... just to name a few legends)... there is only one answer: an extremely insecure manager!!!
It's all
about wrong or none of psychological motivation boost for the

I would like to tell arsenal fan that the transfer window is not arsenal's problem.Let explain what is in my mind.We need to reinforce our team but we need to think in the future that most of the high class
players are going to refuse signing for arsenal fc because of Mr Wenger's philosophy. It looks like arsenal becomes cemetery of
players.How many
players came in and left because of performance, became good
players out of arsenal. We need to accept all of the transformation Mr wenger brings in arsenal but now it does not work. Why??? because lack of tactics, strategies and pretending best
players for Mr wenger mind but in reality those
players do not get standard of best player.Mr wenger wants to prove everybody that he is wright that
players who are calling by wenger are best.I means Mr wenger is the only one can see all matter in good position or bad.He is
wrong by thinking this way.He does not like criticism.he is the mind of arsenal.Everything he can say or defend is wright.Think
about morrinho comments
about arsenal!!!! Why he likes to be arsenal coach!!!! One thing I want to say
about arsenal
players, I think everybody watch arsenal games. We have got short mind
players who play two good games and the rest shameless. They are working hard in the training ground for catching Mr wenger's mind to let them play; what is behind their (
players) mind to be the most regular
players.Those
players have no vision even ambition; they are never becoming high class and their carriers are going to finish in arsenal after arsenal we are going to see them playing for championship. They do not care to become legend as Ian wright, Vierra, Berckam, piress, Henry... What is the big behind their mind to use wenger name to be selected in national team. They are not able to face different leagues in the world.
There are a million things that you can be
wrong about when it comes to drafting a
player, but whether he is too smart for his own good shouldn't be one of them.
I join you on that almostawinner... but the same can be said of that famous english core that we extended / signed a couple of years back... Ramsey is a great
player, can be world class but for that has to stop being so wasteful at times (bad / heavy first touch, killing counter attacks with the
wrong choices, not shooting well anymore the way it looks, giving the ball away)... your not on Gerrard level at his best Gibbs is a good
player but seems happy with his bit part role, doesn't look like he's crazy
about pushing & challenging Montreal for a XI spot Ox, I still believe in his talent but just no end product for an offensive
player with his ability; he could be our version of PFA Hazard / Costa... is it a lack of confidence?
There's so much
wrong with Arsenal if we were given chances to write
about them it would take a year. What kind of mentality is this.Forgive me for the way I come out but what has to be said has to be said and the truth hurts.I do nt know if you guys are happy with what's going on but am not.We live in a world where those who speak the truth are hated very much and a world full of incomprehensible things. Its just sad.Things have to change from this year especially the mentality of this club.I just wan na see my club succeed and its bothering me a lot we just can not seem to do what is right. It's time average
players are taken out of the club and what I mean by that is
players who do nt want to improve. You already them lot.
Thing is though, the point is largely
wrong and has been made
about every great
player throughout history.
Please, do not give me excuses
about injuries etc, we have had those the most since 2004, who to blame than Wenger, who has overplayed and played
players in
wrong position and did not purchase the RIGHT
players in RIGHT places during summer, defensive midfield
player and center back to cover Verminator.

It's not
about picking the
wrong guy, after the RVP incident Wenger realized it's better to have midfielders that will contribute to the majority of the goals because relying on one
player is the biggest mistake our club has done.
I hope he proves me
wrong and gives everton a nightmare of a game but i'm excited
about seeing Campbell coming in as a sub soon because of injury to one of our key
players.
We have all heard the old football adage
about a manager pinning up in the dressing room some criticism of his
players in order to sting them into extra effort to prove the doubters
wrong, but I am not sure if Arsene Wenger has ever tried this little psychological trick on the Gunners.
He is an Arsenal
player now so I will hope he proves me
wrong and when fit he bangs them in and becomes what we need but I am far from convinced
about his ability to reach his potential and feel he was a waste of money.
This is 100 %
wrong, we are third in terms of injuries this season; last season we ended as 1st by a mile with 289 injuries (1
player out for 1 weeks = 1 point)(
about 80 extra weeks of injuries more than # 2).
Deluded manager plus greedy board has created a crisis at arsenal with third rate
players being paid first rate wages to keep them loyal and drugged up fans like yourself overdosing on 4th place high... True fans want change when they see the club going in
wrong direction not a string of drug crazed platitudes from tribal loyalists who are so deluded themselves that they actually believe the blame for the crisis lies with the people who have been pointing to its causes... Do you think financial crises only happen because people start warning
about overlevaraged banks, the speculative and fraudulent behaviour of their overpaid employees and the indulgence of their massively overpaid senior management... Pathetic comment
Wenger has been
about as ruthless as I can remember him ever being because he's just replaced a
player in the lineup who barely put a foot
wrong simply because it better the team.
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where
players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current
players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these
players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the
wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive
players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a
player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the
players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think
about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this
player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3
players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill
players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing
about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a
player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6
players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
this window has just finished i am already thinking
about who we will get for the january window we might try for khedira on a really low offer as he is free agent almost would help boost numbers in midfield in the new year as we will no doubt need to filling the numbers
about then also i will hold my hands up and say i was
wrong this morning for giving wenger stick and saying welbeck is rubbish i have been out in the cold light of day and had a chance to reevaluate the situation and realized that this could be a canny shrew transfer on wenger behalf actually if wenger can turn the clock back and work his magic on welbeck and get him scoring goals and improve his game then we could have a great underrated signing on our hands its wengers absolute trust in him that might be what makes him a great
player as this is something that he never had at old mordor if anybody can make him a world beater wenger can he loves this little pet projects improving
players against the odds welbeck has the skillset to be high class
player upfornt he just needs to work very hard on his finishing i think once he gets a few goals under his belt he will settle in fine and he is a team
player you could put him on the left against man city to shore up that side and he will put in a great shift without a complaint that could be his biggest asset to us or on the right whenever we need him there ithinkwenger might start himon the left against city to protect the left back against navas and i bet you if he does a great job we will take a shine to him quickly i am hopeing he will be one of those wenger gems that he finds and polishes up to a high finish i must admit i was annoyed as some other gunners were at not signing d / m and c / h but if wenger does win the league with this lot it will be his greatest win yet and what might play in to our hands is the unpredictable nature of the league in the last few seasons if we get on a good run at the right time we might be hard to stop look at city they should have never lost to stoke but the result is there in black and white for all to see and i think chelsea will hit the skids after a while to just because cesc and costa are doing well now thats there main threat but teams will work out how to stop them as the season goes on and chelsea will become predictable i think we might just do well this season after all
Though I also loathe the absent and uncaring owner and lickspittle board with a passion too, it is WENGER who buys and sells and plays
players, in the
wrong position too, so often and it is WENGER who refuses, flatly refuses, and for a decade past to do ANYTING
about our joke defending.
The Arsenal manager has recently been full of praise for Wilshere though, talking
about his hard work and dedication and suggesting that an injury free spell is all the talented
player needs to prove his doubters
wrong.
He did play for a brief period at the end of the year as a LWB, made the
wrong choice when he got forward but is that signs of Wenger thinking
about converting a
player we already have as a CM into a LWB?
This is the kind of article that highlights exactly what is
wrong with this club as a whole... so the question you're asking is what option would be less shitty... after the firestorm surrounding Wenger's contract last season, which somehow led to his highly questionable re-upping for 2 more years, things needed to dramatically change or the inevitable same old, same old was bound to occur... as of right now the bare minimum has occurred... we knew
about Sead long before Wenger's renewal so that can't be considered a part of the «new world order»... so the only real changes are Lehman coming into the coaching staff, which could be positive but he's always been a Wenger lackey so the jury is still out, and the acquisition of Lacazette, who I really like as a
player but I question the reasoning behind his signing
