I absolutely agree that
food as reward is giving our kids the
wrong message about
food (especially sweet
food) and not creating healthy
habits for our kids future.
I also had very unhealthy eating
habits and reached for the
wrong foods for the energy my body needed.
If you go right back to your bad
habits of eating too much, eating the
wrong foods and being lazy then YES... Of course you will gradually gain back all the weight you worked hard to lose but after you finish your weight loss program...

wrong, but I am pretty confident I am on the right path, by eating a gluten - free low - carbohydrate diet as prescribed in the book Grain Brain, getting consistent exercise, managing stress, avoiding toxins in my cosmetics,
food, cleaning products, etc. and being diligent about my sleep
habits.
In fact, when I told my doctor I thought my acne was linked to a
food sensitivity, my stress or a lifestyle
habit - she told me I was
wrong, and that it was «definitely a bacteria thing.»
Keep in mind, this is MY
food list, and although you probably couldn't go
wrong to emulate it, you need to choose natural
foods you enjoy in order to develop
habits you can stick with long term.
This problem is further complicated by poor eating
habits such as eating too fast, eating while stressed, and mixing the
wrong foods together such as fruit and meat (Don't do that!)
You could just be in the
habit of buying the
wrong food every time you go shopping simply because you don't have a shopping list written in advance where you know exactly what you should be buying and sticking to that list rather than buying whatever meets your fancy.
Also don't worry about your companion starting bad
habits (like using the bathroom inside, or eating the
wrong food), each companion is taken outside regularly for potty breaks and exercise.
