The reason why is because the wrong resume, the wrong approach,
the wrong job search techniques and the wrong expectations can sap your energy and leave you feeling frustrated in a matter of weeks or months.

Taking things personally in your
job search can result in feelings of hurt and inadequacy when you get rejected, something goes
wrong in the
job interview process or you receive bad advice.
In the long run, many of those assumptions are
wrong... and can mean a much longer
job search.

There's a right way and a
wrong way to do just about everything, and that includes your
job search.
One rejection is just that — one incident — and no doesn't necessarily mean you were all
wrong, nor should it signal the end of a
job search.
Job search is an inevitableout to more recruiters, why is that so

However, for some applicants, using social media the
wrong way can put a halt to their
job search or land them in the boss» office.
If you find yourself in a slump when it comes to your current
job search and are blaming your age on your lack of opportunities, then maybe you are going about things the
wrong way.
There's nothing
wrong with applying for
jobs advertised on
job boards, but I don't recommend for that to be your ONLY
job search method.
There is no need to make it even harder by doing or saying the
wrong thing when
job searching or interviewing.

searching for the right
job and spending most of your
job search time on
job boards.
Sometimes it's just bad luck, but often there is something you're doing
wrong in your
job search.
Learn from HR, but don't take anything from one HR person as
job search gospel... if you really want to know what to do right or
wrong as you try to get into a company, ask people at that company!
Some hiring manager will do
wrong conclusions, they will think that you are not stable
job seekers and all the time you are in an active
job search.
