year I attempted to create a meringue cake to share with you on my

Just like that, a
year came and went and my little

It's funny how I got to this entry as I was looking to see if you had any recipes for swiss buttercream frosting as I am making a rainbow cake for a friend's four
year old's
birthday (from the «whisk kid»
blog) and had some questions about storage.
We also bake
birthday treats for them, there is a great Pupcakes recipe in our
blog that Kate posted and the pups adore This
year is was miserably hot in our apartment and I really didn't want to subject any of us to turning the oven on, so I came up with a frosty
birthday treat recipe for the pups that they inhaled.
I've been making this for
years, I even talked about it in my sons
birthday recap last
year, and forgot to make it for this here
blog.
I found it on Comfy Belly
blog as a donut / cupcake recipe and made it this week for my 3
year old's
birthday party into frosted mini-cupcakes and round cakes.
I had a great
birthday this
year and part is due to all of the great wishes from you and others on the
blog, twitter, facebook and emails.
Regular readers of this
blog know that I bake my own
birthday cake every
year.
Birthdays, where you were born, your family tree, and that vast wealth of knowledge you've gained over the
years... why not put it all into a

This
year, my
birthday fell on a
blog post day and as I was working on the post, MM vetoed me...
As I'm being gifted another
year, thanks to the lord, (my
birthday was about a week ago, by the way) it was only right to give my
blog a face - lift for the first time since I launched in 2014, among other things... I've decided to cut back on anything that doesn't serve me anymore, but in this particular case, I wanted to take a slightly different approach to how I present my
blog, how it represents me and how it's going to impact my growth.
Another
year has gone by and I get to celebrate my
birthday for the second time on my
blog - here is last
year's
birthday outfit.
December 7th will mark the 3
year birthday of my
blog, Color and Grace.
I've never celebrated my «
blog birthday» either, I think it's nearly 4
years for me.

years ago on my 39th
birthday — it was initially only intended as a one
year project to see if I could improve my style as I approached my 40th.
We published this reading - themed

year for Read Across America and Dr. Seuss's
birthday, and it was a huge hit with readers.
In May 2016, we published a

This New
Year's weekend I look forward to writing a

birthday of Veterinary Medicine.
