I think the trick in the investment business is to have a long enough investment horizon that you maximize your probability of success but not so long that there's extended periods of poor performance that investors lose hope, and we found that about a two -
year investment horizon achieves that balance of being able to maximize the probability of success while hopefully having only short periods of underperformance.
