These last couple
years it
seems like my
summers are more about getting projects and work done rather than enjoying the beautiful weather and
summer vacations.
Two
years away
seemed right — it's a lifetime when you're eight — and July
seemed like a time when everyone would least expect it (why would God ruin a perfectly good
summer?)
It
seems like every couple of
years, we cycle into a
summer season that is packed full of weddings and births.
It has been an unusual
summer... first the cold wet start of it and then the heat and then storms...
seems I had to run around and unplug everything every week or so... just disruptive to our regular routine... but we got the hay up without a drop of rain on it... so our record is now 5
years in a row of putting up good hay.

summer, somewhere between the General Election, and before terrorist horrors in Tunisia, there was a brief few days when not much
seemed to be happening.
Things just
seem to speed up and get more compressed as the tail end of

years... just another sign of the fragility that permeates this club
There are at least five big teams chasing Reds starlet Raheem Sterling this
summer and it
seems pretty clear the 20 -
year - old wants out of Anfield after repeatedly rejecting new big - money contract offers at the club.
The Premier League champions
seem the big favourites to sign the 27 -
year - old World Cup winner, who has also been linked with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Paris Saint - Germain this

Martial's preference now
seems to be for a move to Juventus as clubs unsurprisingly show interest in the 22 -
year - old as he looks like he could be available this
summer.
