This is the time of
year where I'm baking cookies every night, running to the mall to do a little shopping, and
decorating the
house.
My husband is a Halloween fanatic —
decorating the yard and
house with his yearly «Halloween allowance» — the small sum we've agreed to that he can spend on new skeletons, gravestones, bats and spiders each
year.
I took all the
decorating classes and love to
decorate cakes, so when I got layed off my job last
year I wanted to open my own cake shop, and its not as easy as you think at least were i live in pa you have to contact the health dept plus you have to make sure your
house is zoned commerical contact your local borough office if your not you will have to have a hearing and it cost about 300 dollars for that, plus i couldn't have the bake shop in my
house unless i had a separate kitchen for the bake shop, and one for my family plus no pets aloud, i am lucky enough that i have a rental
house next to mine that i'm turning into a bakeshop but i have to turn it into a business, i've been working with the small business assoc. and the health dept plus there are permits i need, electric has to be updated and new lighting, plus the plummer has to do alot because i have to have a 3 bay sink and a grease trap, gas lines need to be ran for the oven,
I adore gingerbread men adn even have a gingerbread Chritsmas tree but I don't actually like eating them, its just the taste of ginger isn't my favourite but I still love
decorating them and really want to make a gingerbread
house one
year when my son slightly older and able to do it with me.
It is also in the shelter - magazine class, and after it was built eight
years ago it was the subject of a 10 - page lead story in an issue of
House & Garden devoted to having «the courage of your own convictions in
decorating.»
You see, I've been in this
house for 10
years, but I don't feel that I have really «
decorated».
We never did figure out how to keep our little ones from taking the bottom ornaments off the tree, but if you still have toddlers in your
house, don't worry; in just a few short
years you will be able to

Every
year, I think I should have plenty of time to
decorate the
house, put up a Christmas tree, buy presents, wrap the gifts, bake cookies and bake more cookies.

Well, I had an epiphany last

While I love
decorating inside the
house all
year round, in the summer I'm mostly working outside, soaking in every bit of sunshine I can out in the yard.
It seems the world has gone pumpkin crazy the last few
years — be it baking, drinking, or
decorating — but it's because using pumpkins around the
house is a really simple way to add seasonal

In past
years, while I LOVE Christmas home tours, my
house is already
decorated and feel like its too late to change everything around when I'm inspired by something.
This is my favorite time of
year and my first time going through it as a Mrs, so I'm really getting in the spirit — baking pumpkin bread for Mackenzie,

house, and planning to host get togethers with family and friends.
The Airbnb was an empty
house that I didn't have the luxury of

years of experimenting.
And though we were both frantically working to prep for the
year ahead, we found time to get a Christmas tree,

house, and send gifts zipping around the world.

year as we are moving
house at the moment I work in Flying Tiger and we had some pretty cool and cute stuff for Halloween.
