In my
years of blogging, I have come to know and develop relationships with so many RDs, I laugh
because I tend to refer to myself as a wanna - be RD at times.
This «anti-blogger» got hooked
blogging last
year because of all
of you!
I wouldn't want you to miss out on all my fabulous recipes -LCB- with terrible pictures -RCB- just
because you missed the first
year of blogging.
First
of all HAPPY BLOGIVERSARY!!!! It's so hard to believe that you've only been
blogging a
year because you have such an eye for everything!
I started
blogging about a
year - and - a-half ago
because I noticed myself becoming more and more addicted to the world
of fashion
blogging: I would wake progressively earlier each morning just to look at the latest posts on my favorite blogs before work.
Well I wanted to do that with you,
because over the
years I've been
blogging so many
of you truly have become friends.
Just some food for thought about the behind the scenes
of blogging because I think it is a career not many people fully understand, and I didn't either until I joined the
blogging community this
year.
I am just like you — i started
blogging last
year in April and I couldn't put all my energy into it
because of my exams etc..
I'm still learning lots about
blogging after all these
years, but that's okay
because I love being a student
of the blog world, really.
I know I am not a very rock style kind
of girl, neither too girlie I thought about this a lot too, if I should just choose one style for the blog,
because I noticed that a lot
of blogs choose a particular style, but as I have been
blogging for a few
years now, I came to the conclusion that, I love to share different styles,
because that is how I dress anyway, why should I just share only one style on my blog?
However, I decided to not put any attention to it,
because when I hit five
years of blogging, I want to celebrate this big.
It feels like I have been
blogging for way longer than a
year because it has become a huge part
of my life.
In all my
years of blogging, I can count on one hand the number
of occasions that I've created (or re-created) an outfit specifically for a photoshoot... and then only
because we quite literally couldn't squeeze in some picture - taking on the actual «day
of,» due to limited daylight hours or impossible weather.
I decided to share with you guys this
because in almost five
years of blogging I finally have the answer for soooo many questions I've made to myself.
I have started my fashion blog only a
year ago,
because I always thought it was too late to start
blogging, but after I started my blog, I have the chance to do what I am passionate about and I have more things to be proud
of, its definitely worth it, I think I would regret if I never did it.
Only the top 200 bloggers in the world were invited (and to be selected my first
year of blogging is a major accomplishment)
because there are over 12,000 bloggers affiliated with Reward Style.
It was not until a few
years of blogging about the changes I had made that someone left a comment on my blog suggesting I learn more about personalizing learning
because it seemed like that is what I was talking about.
Now for those
of you who say,
of course you get invitations to networking opportunities,
because you've been out there
blogging and building a list for
years, here's my response:
I've been
blogging for some
years, on Grantourismo listed above and other blogs, and I also consult on social media to restaurants and hotels, so I try to keep on top
of similar global lists, as difficult as it is
because there are just so many and the list is growing all the time and I'm just so busy doing my * real * job.
Our own Alexa ranking has recently been the lowest it has ever been in our four
years of blogging at Grantourismo and our PR recently dropped
because we haven't been
blogging as much as we used to
because we've been so busy doing our day jobs (travel and food writers, and my husband's a photographer).
We did a lot
of research and
because we had the blog already set up for nearly a
year because of the Tour d'Afrique, before we started actually
blogging so things fell into place.
This case is the third case that we have recently
blogged about, where one party has taken the position that the other party's claim is barred
because legal proceedings were commenced after expiry
of the two -
year limitation period set out in the Statute
of Limitations.
Statute
of Limitations and Real Property Limitations Act — We
blogged about a number
of cases (Tarko v. MTCC No. 626, MTCC No. 659 v. Truman and TSCC 1487 v. Market Lofts Inc.) in the past
year where one party took the position that the other party's claim was barred
because the legal proceedings were commenced after the expiry
of the limitation period set out in the applicable limitations statute.
Sam Glover: I'm fully on board with those things
because to me it's a little bit reminiscent
of when
blogging became a thing like, whatever, ten
years ago or whatever it was and a lot
of people, me included were like, oh yeah
of course lawyers should blog and then what happened a whole bunch
of shitty blogs popped up and nobody updated them and there wasn't anything interesting on them.
I say «embarrassed»
because I attended a program Steve did many
years ago at New York LegalTech that provided one
of my earliest introductions to
blogging.
Pat Ellis, who graduated two or three
years ago, landed a job on graduation at the second largest law firm in Detroit, in part
because of his
blogging and social media use.
One
of the reasons it made me think is that Andrew (who I consider a friend) said he decided to stop
blogging in part
because the pace
of publishing multiple items a day had worn him down after 15
years, and he was getting too old for such things.
A 1995 study that tracked college students throughout the
year found that those who fell in love began reporting higher levels
of self esteem and increased openness to trying new ideas and diversifying their hobbies.7 So, if you feel compelled to start food
blogging, or you develop a new found interest in your partner's hockey team, or you can't wait to try out new date ideas, it could
because love has a hold on you.

blogging (but have been snapping pictures
of projects, activities and birthday parties for
years), but love your site
because it is just what I am working toward as well!
We both started
blogging because of major life incidents — in her case her son was born prematurely, in my case I became a stay - at - home mum after 20
years in the same workplace.
I wanted to invite you over to my blog
because I am having my very first give - away there to celebrate my one
year anniversary
of blogging.
I don't want to promise that I'll keep a schedule
because in ten
years of blogging I haven't been able to keep up with a schedule very often, ha.
I can't believe it,
because I never thought, in a million
years, I would still be
blogging after this length
of time.
