I'm celebrating six
years of blogging with some fun news.
As mentors, we'll have an opportunity to share some of the things we've learned in our 9
years of blogging with a small group of bloggers who are new to the design and DIY blog - o - sphere.
Here are 10 things I've learned in three
years of blogging with CUR.

Actually, I thought I would finish off my first
year of blogging with something completely different and post a pie recipe!
But I'm also sharing some thoughts and reflections on self - love and self - acceptance after finishing my first
year of blogging with a bang!!!!

Billion - dollar startups are sprouting like dandelions in Silicon Valley these days, but that certainly wasn't the case 10
years ago this week, when Arianna Huffington launched a
blogging site
with the help
of a few celebrity friends.
Three
years ago, I
blogged about the results that Mike published
with Berkeley's Emmanuel Saez on the evolution
of top income shares in Canada up to 2000.
If you can't see yourself
blogging, creating media, and following through
with email two
years from now, you should give up the idea
of content marketing two minutes from now.
Of course there are other reasons for my sporadic blogging this year: a surprise new baby coming which completely disoriented us, a new book to finish writing (and I will share all about that in January), travelling and speaking all over North America, stewarding the message of Jesus Feminist throughout her first year of life, creating the Jesus Feminist collection with Imagine Goods, a trip to Haiti, new opportunities as a writer, three tinies at home with their own lives and drama and growth and change, remodelling parts of our home, marriage, church, friends, life, work, laundry (oh, can we talk laundry?
Of course there are other reasons for my sporadic

I've been
blogging for a few
years now and the creativity
of some people to come up
with their emoticons...
Now, after eight
years of blogging and turning his blog into one
of the most widely read and commented - upon websites in the world today, he shares
with us all
of his tips and tricks that he learned over the
years.
I am taking the rest
of the
year off from
blogging to spend time
with my family.
Despite my preoccupation
with living biblically, it's been a successful
year of blogging, thanks to you.
So
of course my six best
blogging buddies and I teamed up today to bring you a full viewing party spread, complete
with snacks, appetizers, big bites, and a festive drink to enjoy as you binge watch the ENTIRE
year in the life.
After almost 6
years of blogging, I have accumulated quite a few recipes that work in this category, so I have to cull some out so as to not end up
with a post
with 50 different additions.
In my
year and a half
of blogging, I have never shared a chocolate chip cookie recipe
with you.
In the past few
years, especially
with blogging, I think I've learned to be open to constructive criticism, knowing when to take it to heart and when to take it
with a grain
of salt.
I am back
with a recipe and another giveaway to celebrate three
years of blogging!
With the big upcoming move, The Hubby busy with a new job, and me trying to get a house ready to put on the market, maintaining some semblance of order while the house is actually on the market without actually evicting my little boys during this period, packing years worth of crap, and keeping up the blogging gig, I really need some kid - free time to have a fighting chance of getting it all accomplished without completely losing my mind or sacrificing sleep entir

It's easy to spend hours here
with the massive amount
of drool worthy recipes that Heidi has shared from
years of blogging.
I'm thinking
of slightly switching up my uni degree to swap law for photography and continuing
with the creative writing, so probably going to be
blogging and photographing a lot more next
year!
Then,
with a new site and a fresh book, I SHOULD be able to jump fresh into another big
year of blogging.
Despite the name
of my blog and the recipes I am usually posting here, I actually eat very healthy (
with a side
of cake haha) and am very into nutrition, so after 5
years of blogging I think its about time to reflect that here!
Jenni has been
blogging for several
years, and it's always a treat to be assigned to a blog
with a treasure trove
of recipes!
One thing learned from
years of blogging, is no matter what your niche, be sure to get involved
with your community.
In my
years of blogging, I have come to know and develop relationships
with so many RDs, I laugh because I tend to refer to myself as a wanna - be RD at times.
I haven't been around for awhile (moved to Norway last
year and
blogging was the last thing on my mind
with all
of the changes!).
A good 40
years of wonderful
blogging awaits us all
with at least 2 golden eras in them
To meet the many women I've corresponded
with only virtually over my past 4
years of blogging.
I woke up this morning
with a virus and was just about to tell you, reluctantly, there would be no Friday Buffet today — something I've never had to do in a
year of blogging.
As I usually do at this time
of year, I'll be taking off the next two weeks from
blogging to relax and spend time
with family.
You'd think after two
years of blogging, and even
with my new nifty remote, I'd have some tricks.

Back in 2010, I
blogged about how a LOW FODMAP diet was amazing for my gut (here and here) and helped me to resolve many
of the symptoms
of IBS (bacterial overgrowth, etc) that I'd been struggling
with for
years (and
years).
