of allowing drawers and
closets to fill up throughout the
year with things you don't need or want, create a place in your home where you can collect these items and then donate them in the spring as
part of your regular spring cleaning.
One
of my absolute favorite places to shop is from Shopbop, and has been for several
years so a major
part of my
closet comes from them!
And so it sat in a bag in the back
of my
closet for the better
part of two
years, because I couldn't quite bear to
part with it.

And, I recently updated both
of my pantrys (one the size
of a basic coat
closet, the other a tall double doored cabinet that was
part of a new wall
of cabinets I designed a few
years back).
My husband has a harder time
parting with items, even if he never, ever uses them and they've been in the back
of a
closet for
years.
