Nine
years have passed
since the
release of the first film which was an adaptation of the popular Frank Miller
graphic novel.
Now this isn't just a straight port from the 3DS to the console as the game looks good enough to compete with a lot of the games
released directly to the consoles however this wont win any
graphics of the
year awards but in my personal opinion, that wasn't what I was hoping for either
since graphics doesn't play that big of a part when I game, what I wanted to find out was how good everything else felt.
I have always felt that Grim Fandango was a masterpiece when it first
released, it was
released at a time when
graphic adventure games seemed to be going away, but here we are, the
year is 2015 and I have just finished, for the third time
since it first
released, one of the greatest adventure games of all time, Grim Fandango, thank you Double Fine, from an old fan, thank you.
After spending
years as a palette swap of his brother, Luigi has consistently been given his own
graphics since Super Mario Kart in 1992 to match his official appearance as Mario's taller, younger brother; though the American
release of Super Mario Bros. 2 portrayed him in this way nine
years earlier.
That said, don't expect current gen
graphics from this old boy — while RDR still measures up visually, those 6
years since release do show.
