just tried a vegan version of the
yeasty ones (with soy milk, margarine, and applesauce instead of eggs) and they came out amazingly!
Some other LC cooks are experimenting with using yeast,
just enough of some net carb to feed the
yeasties, and slow raising — but that would be a different recipe I suppose.
