It seems that the dry stuff gives a more harsh
yeasty taste, to me anyway.
I also like how they still have light
yeasty taste to go along with the cinnamon sweetness.
These were easy to make, but mine have a very strong
yeasty taste, so I was wondering whether 2 sachets is too much?
The Kefir milk does taste like Buttermilk — there is a definite sour, somewhat
yeasty taste to it.

As funky as the wines (no, seriously — natural wines can be fizzy or cloudy,
yeasty, or downright barnyard - y, which is part of the fun of
tasting them) are the tunes from the DJ booth and vinyl hangouts they host.
It has this faint sweetness of the pumpkin and honey, but still
tastes yeasty and delicious.
My question is actually regarding the
taste and smell: from the get - go, it just smells like yeast (my mom makes homemade pizza and it's that
yeasty smell).

tastes bad — Kefir can occasionally
taste yeasty, particularly if it's «overdone» and separated into curds & whey.
Yeasty is OK, but just use common sense and don't drink it if it otherwise looks, smells, and / or
tastes bad.
The
taste can be a little
yeasty, which to me is good because it is doing exactly what it is meant to.
When the raw product is mixed with other ingredients and ready to cook, I do find that it smells strongly of almonds, to the point I feel its overwhelming, but when its cooked the smell kind of transforms into a «bready /
yeasty» smell and it
tastes great.
