powder room was quite an eye sore with
yellow walls, mismatched fixtures and brown blinds.

yellow which I knew was a mistake the day the paint dried!!
But, maybe it is the pale
yellow walls in this small windowless
powder room that is making the white sink appear a dirty warm pinky white?
But in the
powder room, the walls read a definite pale
yellow.
ABOVE RIGHT The sink in the
powder room was salvaged from a project at Woodcock Elementary School and painted with a
yellow lacquer.

We suspect there was once a pink Crane console sink in here (like the
yellow one in our
powder room) but the previous owners removed it to make
room for the French Country garbaggio.
Yellow is notoriously a great colour for kitchens, but also works well with the beautiful dove grey in our hallway, and the fresh white of the
powder room.
