We saw large schools of
yellow snappers, puffer fish, a red fire goby, butterflyfish, and some nudibranchs.
Amongst the rocks there were large schools of
yellow snapper and numerous other tropical fish such as butterflyfish, surgeonfish, sweetlips and groupers.
During this dive we saw large schools of
yellow snapper, a large octopus, a huge barracuda, schools of trevallies and tuna, a stonefish.
Inside the small boat were several large lobsters, and a slew of red and
yellow snapper.
From amazing pink and purple soft corals, great big fan corals, nudibranches, boxing mantis shrimp, giant moray eels, wide eyed moral eels, cuttlefish, a yellow seahorse, shoals of
yellow snappers, blue fusiliers, trevalis, and some barracudas.
Schools of
Yellow Snapper, Napoleon Wrasse, big groupers and many Wobbegong sharks can be found in Mioskon.
Further on get enveloped in giant shoals of
yellow snapper and towards the end of the dive another shoal of big eyed travelly.
To be mentioned regarding marine life seen on this dive: Giant Mantis Shrimp, Bargibanty Pygmy Seahorse, school of
Yellow Snappers and Oriental Sweet lips, Wobbegong Shark, Black tip Sharks and Giant Clams.
Submerge into the water at a dive site like Nassimo Thila and you're greeted by huge schools of
yellow snapper, thousands of fish strong, moving in perfect synchronicity together.
Apart from the big stars, the pinnacle is also popular with pelagic fish and their juveniles such as yellowtail barracuda,
yellow snapper and a few squid that have so far managed to evade the many squid fishing boats of Koh Tao.
