as I find the coconut

I use a totally plain coconut
yoghurt, that tastes like greek
yoghurt — I'd say definitely find one with no sweetener or flavourings,
as I'm sure that would make the dish taste a bit funny!
I'd rather drink the beer myself and use empty
yoghurt cups
as barriers.

as I can never find good dairy free alternatives like you said.

as well, if not better
as the apple really makes the flavour so much more delicious than
yoghurt ever could!
This wont have the same bacteria
as regular
yoghurt but it will have lots of other goodness from the nuts!

Sorry you feel that way — I make it and use it
as a
yoghurt substitute but if you don't wish to use it that way then there are plenty of other recipes to try
