We all know that low fat milk,
yogurt and cheese contain calcium, but did you know that there are many dairy free sources of calcium?

Both
yogurt and cottage
cheese without added sweeteners stabilize blood sugar
and insulin levels
and contain protein which helps control appetite
and improve energy (47, 48).
These includes milk,
cheese,
yogurt, ice cream
and anything else which may
contain milk.
But honestly, if your kid is eating
yogurt and cheese in plenty, or eats plenty of calcium -
containing greens, then it doesn't really matter if they drink milk at all.
If it turns out that your toddler is allergic to cow's milk, you'll want to be careful to avoid foods such as cottage
cheese, condensed or evaporated milk, ice cream,
yogurt, margarine that
contains milk, butter, milk chocolate,
and powdered milk.
These include milk,
cheese,
yogurt, ice cream
and anything else which may
contain milk.
Other foods that
contain calcium include
yogurt,
cheese, fortified orange juice, enriched waffles, fortified cereals, canned fish, enriched breads,
and dark green leafy vegetables (kale, spinach,
and collard greens).
But products that
contain processed milk protein — such as
cheese and yogurt — are usually fine to include in your baby's solid food diet.)
Read labels on everything you might want to eat, looking for milk, butter, dried milk,
yogurt,
cheese, casein, whey, sodium caseinate, lactose (
and other things that start with «lact», although sodium lactylate is non-dairy)... Read all labels — check the bread, check the hot dogs
and bologna, check things that say «non-dairy» like non-dairy creamer
and Cool Whip (as mentioned above, these both
contain dairy).

Whole food protein sources — such as nonfat
yogurt, nonfat milk, cottage
cheese or tofu — along with flavorings — including fresh or frozen fruit, nut butters
and ground seeds —
contain protective substances, such as antioxidants
and phytonutrients, that dietary supplements simply can't replicate.
The drink should
contain high calorie foods, such as: peanut butter, olive oil, oat flour or cereals, milk,
yogurt, frozen fruit,
and / or cottage
cheese.
The Perfect Health Diet strongly approves of dairy fats (such as butter
and heavy cream — clarified butter or ghee for those with dairy sensitivity)
and approves of fermented dairy products (
yogurt,
cheese), but recommends avoiding most dairy protein — especially products
containing pasteurized cow casein that has not been pre-digested by bacteria.
If your diet
contains full - fat cream,
yogurt,
cheese and / or butter from organic sources,
and you're still finding it difficult to lose those man boobs, then consider following the above pathway of eliminating these from your diet as well for a few weeks.
Vegetarians can enjoy eggs
and hard
cheeses, but would need to limit quantities of certain dairy products, such as milk
and yogurt, as they
contain lactose, a naturally - occurring milk sugar.
That adds up to about 15 to 19 grams of protein per meal, which is totally attainable in more natural protein sources, such as lean meats,
cheese,
yogurt, or nuts, which also
contain healthy fats to help you feel satiated
and full.
