young viewers interested in horror and helped give vampirism back it's bite after the neutering effect Twilight had on the subgenre.

Like many contemporary
viewers, I was
interested in this silly, Russian - made flick purely because I heard the
young Francis Ford Coppola had a hand in editing it down to its tighter American counterpart (which is 13 minutes shorter).
The film skews
young, to be sure, and it isn't as memorable as the new Disney classics of the early 1990s, but there's still plenty here to hold the
interest of
viewers of all ages: delightful performances (particularly by Dench, plowing Angela Lansbury terrain), zinging comic dialogue and a soundtrack that's a wealth of sonorous riches.
The abundant tropes remind the
viewer of those featured in vehicles favored by the likes of Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, and James Coburn, men's men who made movies for men that weren't even likely to
interest boys with a taste for action, as the work of the next generation of action stars (Stallone, Schwarzenegger, and Norris» other slightly
younger Expendables cast mates) would.
With dated special effects, Flight of the Navigator is probably only of
interest for nostalgia buffs looking to recapture a childhood memory, although it might still hold the
interest of today's
youngest viewers..
But the movie drew only 41 percent of its
viewers from the under - 25 crowd, indicating that Hollywood's key audience of
young action fans was not
interested.
His first shorts Heroes Are Immortal (90) and Straight Ahead Until Morning (94), both set in small towns by night, show his
interest in juxtaposing image and text, assaulting the
viewer with torrents of speech: the first a dialogue between two

Unfortunately, if there is any
interest in Madagascar, it will probably come mostly from very

Both would probably be fun for
