Magdi has been awarded
prizes by the Egyptian Ministry of Culture for his work in the Salon of
Youth on three different occasions, and has participated in residency programs in the U.S. and Europe, including at the Bronx Museum for the
Arts (2010), Cittadell «arte in Italy (2010), and the Hanger
Arts and Media Center in Spain (2009).
Anyways, that was followed by the opening of our local area
art prize... where the eldest took out runner up in the
Youth section for her lino print.
