Youth Arts Education — MACLA's approach to
youth arts education received national attention when we were chosen to develop the San Jose Peapod Adobe Youth Voices Academy (PAYVA), launched in August 2011.
Some of this was probably informed by going to
a youth arts education program in a Natural History Museum.
More than 30,000 children, youth, young adults, families and community residents participate in the approximately 50 programs we produce each year in four program tracks: visual arts; performance and literary arts;
youth arts education; and community development through the arts.

youth arts education in Santa Clara County and serves more than 37,000 students annually through curriculum - based arts programs and integrated technology.
